Take me Back to My Home Sweet Home Libnana

“Command of the Meek” was published in a Los Angeles News paper in 1987.
Sama Libnan wrote this “Monajatt” for the sake of Libnan in 1986 in the midst of internal conflict and national chaos. It was revived in 2008 for the sake of pulling together Lebanon’s fragment society and narrowing the divide among local rivals or so called 14 vs 8 Atharr.
Originally titled “Command of the Meek” and published in a Los Angeles News paper.
“Try please my Lord and bring them in
for a treat under skin
Brain deep and within
Plant the seed of comprehension
Remind them my Lord that
Talk with guns is a sin
To unite, we all should stand
“Us” and “Them” just grab hands and listen
Probably to understand our mess should be banned
Nevertheless not to fear the alien force among and near
For when we choose to break the ice
is when we start to depart from the fear we all hold near
And when the rest join the best
Only then we can rest
And proceed to reveal to the world
That what we once knew to be
Not a tree that stands in the middle of a sheet
Which we all call flag
Or a smile we all share
Under a mask we choose to wear
In seasons when the land is crammed
But a tree born again to carry on and bear the fruits of the
prophets and the wise who led the world to a rise and the brain to
the alphabet.
Otherwise….
To be continued.
